CALL FOR PAPERS: Ricardo Conference in Lyon, France, September 10-12, 2013

NEW DEVELOPMENTS ON RICARDO AND THE RICARDIAN TRADITIONS Lyon, 10-12 September 2013

CALL FOR PAPERS

This decade marks the bicentennial anniversary of the major publications of David Ricardo, one of the most powerful and original authors in political economy. To celebrate this event and to make an update of the most recent research, an international conference on New Developments on Ricardo and the Ricardian Traditions will be held in Lyon, France, co-organized by the
Ricardo Society, the research centre Triangle (CNRS, École Normale Supérieure de Lyon) and the Université Lumière (Lyon 2).

As a supplement and prelude to this event, the Conference will be preceded, on 9 September 2013, by a day of lectures and debates around the work of David Ricardo in order to promote Ricardo studies among PhD students and young research fellows.

All proposals for papers (maximum 1,000 words) in the field will be welcome — especially those concerning international trade. They must be sent to Gilbert Faccarello (gilbert.faccarello@u-paris2.fr) or Masashi Izumo (izumo@kanagawa-u.ac.jp) not later than 30 January 2013. (Full papers are due by 15 June 2013.)
